My recent works, including canvases and papers, are political, iconic and direct. This series of human bodies, built with layers upon layers of inks and drips, in their randomness and fluidity, try to express my inner conflicts. More than sensuality, I am looking for a human resilience and the pain and suffering through which we try to overcome the numerous obstacles we find in our lives outside our native countries. Most of these figures are faceless, giving us their backs, anonymous and silent as if they were walls.
